Chief Adam Turk began his law enforcement career 28 years ago. He has been with the Greeley Police Department since 1999. Chief Turk has a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Master of Arts Degree from the University of Northern Colorado and is a 2016 graduate of the FBI National Academy, Session #266. Chief Turk has served the Greeley Police Department as a patrol officer, field training officer, detective, sergeant, commander, and deputy chief. In 2015, Chief Turk was instrumental in working with the Weld district attorney’s office in creating and implementing the Weld County Critical Incident Response Team. Chief Turk serves on non-profit boards in the community, to include Life Stories Child & Family Advocacy and the Human Services Advisory Committee. Chief Turk resides in Greeley with his wife Angela and two incredible boys.
